Welcome to the 2nd Open International Innovation Challenge in 2026, aptly named OpIIC2026!

In this era of rapid urbanization and technological advancement, the need for innovative solutions that foster sustainability and enhance the well-being of our communities has never been more pressing. OpIIC 2026 stands as a beacon, bringing together brilliant minds and visionaries from around the globe, united by a common goal — to address the challenges of our urban landscapes and create a future where well-being is at the forefront of development.

OpIIC2026 provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the cultivation of groundbreaking ideas that have the power to transform cities into vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive spaces. OpIIC2026 aims to offer opportunities to professionals, engineers, academicians, and industrial experts to share and exchange ideas, innovations, and products across various scopes while addressing the theme “Empowering Society Through Inclusive and Sustainable Innovation”.

OpIIC2026 is not merely an event; it is a catalyst for change. VIDEO JUDGING CRITERIA

Video Guidelines

The following criteria will be judged by the panels:

  1. Novelty & Uniqueness – Product must be original and unique.
      • Products that have previously won awards in other innovation competitions are not eligible, unless they have been significantly improved or upgraded. Any such enhancements must be clearly stated in the video.
  2. Benefit to mankind – Product can be benefitted to potential end user at different level (nation, community, field
  3.  Commercialization – Product is marketable and user-friendly.
  4. Status of Invention/ Innovation/ Design – Product is prototype/ready and supported with any recognition/ publication.
  5. Video Presentation
      • The video presentation should be brief, clear, quality and concise. Maximum duration = 6 minutes.
      • Introduce the members of the project
      • The video presentation should be explained clearly and effectively.
      • Ensure good audio and visual quality—clear voice, proper lighting, and stable recording.
      • The presentation should be well-structured and easy to follow, with a logical flow of information.
      • Use visual aids such as slides, demonstrations, or prototypes to enhance understanding.

All decisions made by the organizers and the selection of the winners is conclusive. No disputes or appeals will be entertained.

POSTER JUDGING CRITERIA

Poster Guidelines

The following criteria will be judged by the panels:

  5. E-Poster presentation:
      • Content should be concise, accurate, and easy to understand
      • Creativity in approach and concept
      • Logical and well-explained process
      • Attractive, well-organized layout
      • Readable fonts, effective use of colours and space
      • Quality and relevance of graphs, charts, and images
      • Visuals enhance understanding of the content

All decisions made by the organizers and the selection of the winners is conclusive. No disputes or appeals will be entertained.

Call for Jury

  1. Judges can still participate in this event, but the judging committee will make sure that they do not evaluate their own project (if they join the event as participant)
  2. To avoid conflicts of interest, all judging criteria will be given to the judges few days before the judging session begins.
  3. E-Certificate will be given to judges who have completed judging all the task assigned.
